Picsean - Another way to sell your Image

Its hard to get back the amount of $$$$ we dumped into buying our camera gears, selling your image is one of those way to earn back some hard earn money.

I just got to know about this site call Picsean, click on it.

Sony World Photography Awards 2012

Its the time of the year where Sony again organize the Sony World Photography Awards Competition.

For this year there are few categories as listed below (Based on WPO) .

Open Competition - For Amateurs and Enthusiasts
Professional Competition - For serious photographers that has the entries published or going to be published
Youth Award - For anyone under the age of 20
Moving Image Award - For those experimenting with moving image narrative formats

Are you going to be hit by a Satellite?

It seems a Satellite, the size of a bus is plunging towards earth, approximately at 23rd september Eastern Time, late Friday afternoon or early Saturday.

So hence guys beware look up who knows you might be the 1/ 3200 unlucky human being that is going to be wallop by a satellite. Is it too late for me to go buy insurance? HaHaHa.

If you see a bright moving light in the skies moving towards you, it might not be a UFO that you wish to take video or picture of to get rich. It could be the last thing you see....

Nine Emperor God Festival 2011 Malaysia and also Thailand

This year I have booked a trip to Phuket, Thailand to witness the Nine Emperor God Festival. As I looked through some of the photos taken by others, I found that the festival there has its unique way compared to Malaysia.

Last year I went to the Ampang temple and I took quite a number of photos like below.

Do click to my Photo Blog to see the rest. I did not manage to attend the fire walking ceremony as I heard that only those with media passes are allowed. I personally believe that this is one event that we should see at least once in our life.

Nikon New Mirrorless Camera announced

Nikon just announced the new mirrorless camera system called J1 and V1. Its a 10 megapixel Cmos sensor and with this new mount there are 4 lenses being released together, Nikkor  VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6, 1 Nikkor VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6, 1 Nikkor  10mm f/2.8 and 1 Nikkor  VR 10-100mm f/4.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM.

It looks like Canon will need to do something else they will be left out of this mirrorless race.

Food! Quick and Light Bite @ I Love Yoo, Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

If I am around at Berjaya Times Square and suddenly I have the urge for a light bite, I will head straight to I Love Yoo! It is located near Cold Storage and KFC.

To order, all you need to do is head to the counter and point to the menu displayed there. Its self service hence food will be given upon payment.  

There are ample place, roughly can accommodate close to 30 customers. 

Food is actually ready and once your order is complete, they will just pick the food and cut it up and you can take it away.  

You could also view how they prepare and fry the food. And most of the time, I will just checked the color of the oil before I buy hahaha as if its too dark color, I might just go somewhere else.  

In this occasion, I actually ordered the Set A which is one Dry Scallop Porridge and one You Tiao which cost RM4.

Of TomYam Land and Bangkok Transport, what bus number to take?

Recently I have been staying in TomYam Land more frequent than normal. I Called Bangkok, TomYam Land as its where you can eat and taste the real TomYam.

I have been taking public transport in Bangkok and one thing that always left me scratching my head is what bus No to take. Farang like me will have problem as most of the bus will not have any english words at all. This site will at leasts helps Bangkok Mass Transit Authority
