If I could I would stop time and together we breathe in some fresh air and erase whatever that is bothering us in this little space of mine, whereby my life story is told, my thoughts pour out and ideas brew.

Land of Zorro or Zorroine and Petrol price
Since yesterday I have already use my old air filter and open it in full blast in my living area. I could feel my breathing becoming less smooth even I am with my nasal spray. My nasal passage is fill with “gold”, I guess I might need a “gold digger” to dig it out. For those who have no problem with breathing, I guess u might not understand. Each smooth breath is rare as hitting an oil field.
Talking about oil or petrol, I read an article recently; there is a possibility that the high price of petrol could be due to the manipulation of someone. If you do remember in 1997 financial crisis the economy of some South East Asia countries like Thailand. Indonesia and Malaysia almost got wipe out by the currency manipulator. Most countries are now more prudent and have put in place some risk management process in regards to currency fluctuation hence the manipulator would need to find another “item” to grow their money.
Petrol could be the “item” that they are now playing with. Petrol is a commodity hence it opens to manipulator. Hence we might seen or in the area of the “peak” price of petrol. And as always, everything goes up might comes down. Is there a possibility that oil countries will suffer the same fate as those countries during the 1997 financial crisis? There could be a 200x oil crisis…………….

A belated post on World Cup…..
9th July ended the month long of ball kicking. It was won by Italy. What have some of us got as souvenirs on this world cup? Some have panda eyes due to the late nights. Some got Brazil jersey. My wife bought for my sister a set of BTS (Thailand LRT card) of the 11 “pepsi” players.

Below is 2 of the famous one......

Should I? Should I?
That day started off with an innocent “look see” altitude until I saw the road show. As I walked into the shop my brain has already started swirling with “should I? should I?”. I asked the particular salesgirl if there is any promotion. She said there is a cash voucher of Rm200. After touching it, viewing it, I walked out from the shop with more “should I? should I?”. As we walked around shopping for others things, my mind continues swirling. Guess what, after many round of “should I? should I?” finally this 32 inch black beauty (on the left) now resides in my bedroom.

What is the different between the 42 inch, 3 LCD projection TV (on the right) and the 32 inch LCD? So far the 32 inch is smaller but it’s sharper. Less “square” was seen when the action is fast. It’s still got the blur effect when you look at it in a close distance. I have hook it up to my notebook it seems quite ok. Hence my verdict is the 32 inch LCD TV is better in terms of picture quality, it just got the extra omph to it.

Act of squeezing balls
A female ex-colleague of mine whom I have known for 17 years call me up the other day, she was surprised that I am sitting in my house at 7 pm. I told her I reached my house more than half an hour ago as I will normally leave my office sharp at 5:30 pm. She was a bit surprised as she is still on her way back driving on the road. I guess she still think that I will still follow my old habits of slogging it out in the office way past the usual time.
Sometimes is difficult to let go or change certain characteristic of ourselves. I used to be quite critical on doing every job to a certain degree of quality. I am not Mr Perfect but I would try to ensure all things coming out from me are in certain quality. Even there are times like during some rare moments when I am doing household chores like washing dish; I would ensure that it will be sparkling clean. Even when I am doing a DIY on a cabinet I will screw and screw until it’s real tight. Maybe is some kind of mental sickness symptoms, hahaha.
I no longer have the physical endurance like I used, I am changing the way I work. Some say work smart but in my area of work I do not think there is such thing as work smart. We are governed by tight datelines, just like a jinjang fellow wearing a tight pair of jeans, squeezing and splitting his beloved tentacles to their sides, one on the left and the other on the right. The pair of jeans is the management. The salesgirls that sold it, is the marketing department, promising the skies to seal the deals. The tentacles are like us, splitting ourselves into 2. One is the family, the other is our career. The jinjang fellow is us laughing on the outside by uncomfortable in the inside...

Dusk
Dusk is great, a song sang by Eason Chan, I got this translation from a colleague. I could not understand the meaning of the song when I first heard it. However it still manages to stir up some emotion inside me. When it reaches the chorus, the chord, the melody echo into my eardrum; it goes down through my throat and reaches my artery where my heart is beating. Beat by beat it brings me to another world, I was sitting on the edge of the mountain looking over a valley. The low lights emitted from the horizon, were like an old movie projector playing the past, images floating around, image of happiness, sadness and regrets….

Blur
I finished the course but my brain felt like it is surrounded by load of invisible armies holding it back from giving some brain farts. It looks like all the wirings are messed up. Nothing much comes out of it. I even felt that my memory has deteriorated. I almost throw away my parking receipt which is supposed to accompany my monthly time sheets for reimbursement purpose. I remember putting it in a plastic bag which contains my newly bought audio CD. Somehow it creeps its way into the dustbin instead.
Talking about insomnia, I have a female colleague who is about to due in 3 weeks time. As I was talking to her, I saw her stomach, it’s quite big. It’s almost a foot and a half away from her body frame. How does a pregnant woman sleep? I normally slept leaning to the side. If my stomach is that big, I am not sure how someone could sleep soundly. Imagine facing this for 9 months. I salute all mothers in the world…….

Simple Pleasures Tag.
Instructions
1. Name ten (10) of life's simple pleasures that you like the most;
2. Then pick ten (10) people to do the same; I will skip this part.
3. And try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used.
Consuela did a very good job in doing this with photos, I will do mine the basic way with just text.
1. Taking Photos, I love taking photos, nothing excite me more than capturing the moment in photos. Photos of food, scenery, faces and etc, I am hoping to buy a good camera with a good zoom as I am a bit shy to take photos of human hence I need a good zoom lens to help me bring the object nearer. I believe photos are our extended memory.
2. Eating lunch or dinner with families, nowadays we spend more time with our colleague, our PC and our work, dinner is the only time we could really sits down with the family. That’s where we could really have some quality time.
3. Walking and laze around in shopping complex, I love spending time in shopping complex; it could be that I am intrigue by human activities in their act of shopping for things. I love watching them walking pass by with their best outfits as it’s like an open catwalk.
4. Travelling, this is where we are exposed to another world. A world that is different from us. We humans are born explorer, we love to seek and try something new, and we do not like idling away. Hence travelling is for us to seek adventure and to learn new things of how another human being live in another part of the world.
5. Watching DVD or movies, the 4th dimension of our 3 dimension world where we could die and alive another day. A world that is fill with glitter. A world that that is created by thoughts and imagination.
6. Surfing the net, a place where almost a major population of the world converge. A world where knowledge is layout in bits and bytes, allowing us to search for it. A channel for us to explore, find, verify and research.
7. Watching Cooking shows, my favourite cooking shows now is Iron Chef. I am not sure why but by watching shows such as this I believe it gives my some kinda of pleasure, although I might not be able to taste the cooking but knowing how it was cooked gives me a high.
8. Buying things, this is my ultimate therapy, a reason for me to continue working. I believe this increases my endorphins level. If I have the money I could imagine shopping non-stop for the whole day.
9. Writing, believe it or not I love writing. I am a man of few words hence I used writing to pour my thoughts out. When words were written and express the way I wants, I feel fulfil.
10. Listening to radio, the music and chats by the Deejay pulls me into another dimension. It brings excitement out of my morning and evening drive to and from work.
