My wish.....

Last week, my wife was back here in KL for the weekend. As usual we went out and do some shopping. One of the places that we normally go is Low Yat. As I walked down the stairs of the bridge that connects Berjaya leading to Low Yat, I catch a glimpse of an old man. I walked towards him; I notice that he is holding a fried chicken drumstick...

As he takes in a bite, I could see his hand is shaking, probably due to hunger. He was begging by the road side. The drumstick could be given by some Good Samaritan. I walks towards him, I squat down, I will normally do that if the beggar is an elderly. I took out some money, when I put the money to his bowl; I notice that the other hand was actually partially crippled. It was cut off from elbow downwards. I open up my wallet again and I took out all my lose changes and empty it all into his bowl. As I was doing that our eyes meet, I could see his eyes fill with thank you and mine is almost close to tears....

After 10 minutes walking, my heart is still wrenching with a tingle of pain. I regretted, thinking that I should gives more. When we were walking back, we no longer see him around. I hope the authority did not take him away. I wish for all human beings to have the capability to have enough to eat and live life as normally as possible.........

Where is the battery? I can’t makeup without it….

Technology has been improving by leaps and bounds. I guess now even the cosmetic industry has weird invention. Have you come across foundation that needs battery to operate? My wife has just bought one. It will automatically spray droplets of it onto your face when you press a button. How strange? All you need to do is point the opening at your face and as though as you are painting a wall, just spray it across the face and viola it’s done. Its suppose to produce a natural look compare to current "technology"...Strange but true…..so when someone says I could not makeup as I do not have any backup battery, its probably true...

SkyRide @ Sentosa Singapore

A video of a fun ride...Fun? hahaha

And a Picture..
SkyRide @ Sentosa Singapore

In the end all of us, were "burn" by the sun. Now I am still having a round dark brown patch around my neck not to mention my Kopi O face. We were initially quite reluctant to take the ride as my wife is afraid of height and I am afraid of any possible untoward incident which could rob my remaining kidney. However as we have paid for the package which cost around Sgd 55 for the major attraction including the sky ride, we brave ourselves and took the ride. There is no regret, it was fun. Legs hanging, chair swinging a bit and after a strapping ourselves, we are on top of Sentosa island of Singapore absorbing the view. Click here for more info.

Was at Down South..

I was down south in Singapore for 4 days with my wife and sister. We stayed at my cousin’s place. It was one of those hectic trip, we were out for almost 12 hours daily. I am now roughly tan although it was quite cloudy and rains once in a while. Not a good weather to take pictures. I will be posting some pictures of my trip at my Photo Blog and my flickr later. But here is one first, me doing the Stamford Pose...

My Wife Company Trip @ BangSaen, Thailand, 3rd to 4th Feb 2007

I went to my wife company trip or actually its my company thailand "branch" on 3rd and 4th of Feb 2007. It was a trip to a beach famous to the Bangkokians, called BangSaen. It was a fun trip, those who loves seafood will enjoy it. However it has only 20 feets of sand and the rest is filled with beach chairs...

Below is a mosaic of some of the pictures I took, created using Flickr toys. I have yet to upload all the photos.

As a start, a video of the "chaotic" situation at the Tide Resort, with the staff preparing for "games". Will be posting more video later...

Ancient City, Ayutthaya

I am not sure why but there is an urge to travel. This urge magnify during my last trip to Bangkok. I guess its the shutter bug bitting me. I told my wife; let’s go to the ancient city, Ayutthaya. I have been there 11 years ago with another group of colleague but not with my wife.

Ayutthaya is actually under the World Heritage list. It’s was a tiring trip; we started the journey from 8:30 am, reached there at around 10 plus. This follows by trips to the tourist center, lunch, new temples, old temples, old palace and hundred over photo later we arrived back in Bangkok close to 6pm.

There are a lot of interesting place, in some a minimum fee of 30 baht is charged as entrance fee for foreigner and 10 baht for local. We missed some places; one of those is Bang Pa In summer palace, umm maybe another 10 years? I will be gradually posting some of the photos in my Photo Blog.
