Queen Victoria Market @ Melbourne

Queen Victoria Market is a market with a lot of varieties and I believe the local also did their shopping here. As we wander around, we found that the price is reasonable cheaper as compare to city center. Example Tees Shirt that shows the word Australia or with Australia motif cost around 5 to 6 Aud, if you buy up to 4 pieces. Back in the city center it could costs up to 10 Aud. The fruits look a bit fresher and the number of stalls to choose from is the key attraction. And you will need to plan ahead before you go as it does not open daily, click on to the link to find out more.

We took the train until Flagstaff Station so naturally the fruits and souvenirs stall is the first place that we visit which is located at the open shed. As we wander around we were also trying to search for the famous entrance shown above. After almost 30 minutes we still could not find it. We almost give up until we realize that it should be at an enclosed area hence the most logical place is the fish and meat area which was air conditioned. How can we declare that we have been to Queen Victoria Market Melbourne if we do not have a photo of this famous entrance, right?

Below is some stores in the market.
